“I don’t want to get to the end of my life and find that I lived just the length of it. I want to have lived the width of it as well.” – Diane Ackerman

This is why I have started taking those steps to no longer look up at the glass ceiling that they have placed above me, but to look up to what my next goal will be.

I will no longer be, “little lady” or “too young to know how the grown-ups run things”.  Being under-challenged is like living a slow death.

I will make myself into who I am proud to be and I will do it on my terms, and I will not let ignorance forecast my abilities to better myself and go beyond who I am today!
