Vintage: Shot One

Unrestored classic costume jewelry from earlier generations.

This was my first vintage piece, which was old costume screw back earrings (well, one of the two in the set) from at least 3 generations back in my family.  I liked this one more because it did have the missing stone and some real age and decay.

The only real revision to this as opposed to the one shared in the hang-out was brightening of the stones and a decrease in the glare from the highlights per a suggestion from +Christina Lawrie.

Earlier in the month, I broke my Faberge tea light holder, and it made a fine, broken addition to this shot by adding complimentary tones and hues.

For the +Photography+ Project January “Vintage” Theme, I give you “The Screwback With One Missing Stone”.
