Testing, Testing… 1, 2, 1, 2…
“The most authentic thing about us is our capacity to create, to overcome, to endure, to transform, to love and to be greater than our suffering.” ~Ben Okri
Today, I finished up my last assignment for school and am officially on a much needed break. This term was especially difficult as I found out I was placed in a class without having a few pre-requisite courses completed first. This made some of the concepts and elements more difficult for me to grasp, and I had to research more, study harder, and spend many more hours fighting through the assignments to get the grades I wanted (A’s, of course).
In the presence of all this work, I had to set down my camera more and pick up my tablet and stylus a whole lot more, which really took away from my zen, relaxation time.
Things will go much smoother next term with my schedule sorted out according to my degree plan, and now I have a few weeks to recharge and re-infuse my muse with all sorts of creativity. To start things off right, I found this old self portrait from the lighting test shoot for the last week of my 52-Project; the skull face session as seen in my current profile picture.
