“To practice any art, no matter how well or badly, is a way to make your soul grow. So do it.” ~Kurt Vonnegut

Have you ever felt “unstuck”? Like, you are moving in and out of your life in no particular order?  Recently, with photography I have felt that way.  I can’t say why for sure, but I know I want to shoot, and I enjoyshooting, but I just haven’t felt focused enough to create with my camera recently.

While talking with some old and new friends recently, it was nice to find out I was not alone.  One thing I have been doing, since I haven’t been focused on making new shots is going back randomly in time to other catalogs from previous months and years, and in no particular order, begun to rework, process, or retouch them until a time when I feel like I am in a place of stability in my core.

It may be a week, a month, or whenever, but it will come back when I stop fighting so hard to make it be so.

(Some may get the reference and to that, I say right on)
